Thai Food : Kaeng Pa Pla Krai (Spicy Red Curry with fresh water fish) แกงป่าปลากราย




     Kaeng Pa Pla Krai is popular Thai food.It is spicy,delicious and easy to make.Ingredients usually include vegetables and fish meat.





Ingredients of  Kaeng Pa Pla Krai :


1. 250 g fish meat,minced or grated and mix until sticky

2. 1/2 cup long beans,cut into bite size
Ivy Gourd
3. 10 pea eggplant
4. 3 kaffir lime leafs
5. 2 cups of water
6. 2 tsp roasted rice
7. 2-3 Chinese ginger(krachai),Thinly sliced
8. 5 Cockroach berry,cut into bite size
9. 1 cup basil
10. 1 cup Ivy Gourd
11. 2 tbsp Roasted curry paste
12. 1 1/2 tsp Palm Sugar
13. 2 tbsp fish sauce

How to cook Kaeng Pa Pla Krai :

1. Add water in the pot.Heat the pot and add curry paste wait until boiling.Form fish meat into bite size down in the water.When it boils again,put long beans,pea eggplant,kaffir lime leafs,Chinese ginger(krachai),Cockroach berry wait until boiling.
2. Add basil,Ivy Gourd,Palm Sugar,fish sauce and roasted rice down.When boil again,Turn the heat off .Ready to serve.
